You will change into the provided KOSO-bathing attire.
Towels and other essentials are available for rent or purchase, so you can come empty-handed.
Please enter the KOSO-BATHING room with only your locker key.
If it’s your first time, you might be pleasantly surprised by the cozy scent of wood and the unique aroma of the KOSO-BATHING.
Grab a glass or two of water and let your body get ready to enjoy the bath.
You’ll sweat a lot! KOSO-bathing can make you sweat as much as running a half marathon.
Our staff will help you settle comfortably into the KOSO-bath.
If any spot feels too hot or not warm enough, please let us know.
Take it easy and stay buried in the warm bath for 15 minutes.
Everyone feels it differently, so take it at your own pace and listen to your body.
If it feels too hot, it’s perfectly fine to stick out your hands or feet.
Our staff will check in with you about the time and how you’re feeling.
After 15 minutes, take a seat and relax. Make sure to drink plenty of water.
Go ahead and drink lots—it tastes great! Feel free to have seconds!
After kosobathing, you can sit on top of the warm sawdust or lie face down.
This is your “second sweating time,” a chance to relax and let your body release more heat gently.
Take it easy, rest if you like, and warm up the areas of your body that need it.
The most popular positions during kosobathing are sitting with your knees up (like a relaxed sitting pose) or lying face down.

Slowly stand up, and our staff will help you brush off the sawdust from your kosobathing clothes.
Take a shower to refresh yourself after kosobathing.
We provide shampoo and conditioner, but no body soap — this helps keep your skin soft and healthy after kosobathing.
The rice bran gently removes excess oils from your body.
Feel free to bring your favorite body soap or personal items.
You can use this space to dry your hair and enjoy some skincare after kosobathing.
We provide mirrors, hair dryers, skincare lotion, and cotton swabs for your convenience.
The second sweating time is still continuing — you might find yourself sweating a lot!
Take your time to relax a little before you leave.
After your kosobathing, we offer a selection of refreshing drinks to enjoy.
