Towels and kosobath robes are available for rental or purchase, so you can come empty-handed.

Children can use the kosobath, but if there are children below junior high school age, please use a private session with a guardian. For details, please contact the store directly.

After daily preparation following closing, fermentation and heat generation are activated, so the temperature is highest first thing in the morning. You can adjust the perceived temperature by how deeply you sink into the bath,
allowing you to control it according to your comfort and preference.

Groups of men or solo male visitors can only use the bath on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. On other weekdays, women have priority.
Men accompanied by women—whether with family, spouses, couples, or friends—are welcome.

You can enter the bath slowly and carefully. After bathing, there is a two-person shower room available, so you may use it with an assistant. However, wheelchairs cannot be brought in due to narrow hallways and entrance steps. Please understand these limitations.

Reservations are prioritized, but same-day reservations by phone are also accepted.
Visiting without a reservation may result in waiting or being unable to be accommodated, so please make a reservation in advance.

There are five dedicated parking spaces in the adjacent lot. We kindly ask guests coming together to carpool if possible.

Heating the body from the core mainly boosts metabolic activity, so many people feel various benefits even on their first visit.
Those with low activity or poor metabolism should be cautious, as circulation may increase too rapidly. We recommend bathing within your comfort level.

First, it takes about 15 minutes to check in and change into the kosobath robe.
Bathing lasts 20–25 minutes,
and post-bath showers and drying take another 15–20 minutes. Total time is about 1 hour. Depending on other reservations, slight waiting may occur, so please allow extra time.

Up to 5 women or 4 men can use the bath at the same time.
Friendly families might even fit 6 people together.

Absolutely not.

Pregnant women can use the bath,
but please consult your doctor beforehand. Extra care is needed during early pregnancy or near your due date.

Warming the body and raising basal temperature may also have benefits for fertility and preconception health.

In principle, the bath is not suitable for the following cases:

・Fever of 37.5°C or higher ・Under the influence of alcohol ・Need assistance while changing, bathing, or showering
・Epilepsy or infectious disease ・Affiliated with criminal organizations

Additionally, if you have the following conditions, please consult your physician before using the bath at your own discretion:

・Severe anemia ・Low blood pressure ・High blood pressure ・Allergy to cypress or rice bran ・Pregnancy

Our kosobath uses pre-fermented rice bran, so there is no strong fermented odor. Additionally, the cypress deodorizes and disinfects, and the cedar walls provide a fresh, natural scent.

and the amount you sweat in a 15-minute full-body bath is said to be equivalent to running a 20 km marathon. However,
dieting should not rely solely on kosobathing — combining it with proper nutrition and sleep helps establish a healthy rhythm and more effectively reach your ideal body shape.

You won’t experience typical hot-bath dizziness, but the kosobath room is around 30°C with 50–70% humidity. Sweating occurs rapidly, which can be taxing. If you feel unwell, stop and notify staff. After resting and hydrating, most people feel fine and may re-enter if they wish.

We recommend 15 minutes of full-body bathing followed by 5–10 minutes of half-body bathing.

The sweat flows downward, and impurities are broken down and fermented by beneficial microbes, keeping the bath hygienic and safe.
