Oheso is the first and only pool-style koso-bathing facility on the Miura Peninsula.
Koso-bathing is a traditional Japanese wellness practice in which you are gently buried in a warm bed of fermented natural materials such as rice bran and herbal ingredients. The natural heat, created by the fermentation process, promotes intense perspiration without the need for hot water. Many guests describe the feeling afterward as if they have been “reborn at the cellular level.”
